Yoga with Yoga Weekends
Yoga weekends are an excellent
way to improve your yoga practice or for beginners to get a concise
introduction to yoga and meditation. Over the course of the weekend
you develop an intensive contact with your body leading to increased
agility, better concentration - as well as a great detox.
Each day we have either one or two yoga workshops, usually
lasting between an hour to an hour and half.
We cater for all levels of student:
previous Yoga Weekends' clients range from those trying yoga for the
first time to those with over 20 years' experience. While our yoga weekends
are also about relaxing and having fun you are always offered something
to learn yoga-wise: whether that's advanced options for postures, new
breathing techniques or perhaps an introduction to meditation.
We use different yoga teachers for different
dates - please contact us for more details on our teachers and their
styles. All our teachers are qualified, experienced instructors, most
having trained in India under such luminaries as Clive Sheridan, Guruji
Mohan or Bikram Choudry.
Why go on a yoga weekend?
You might be fed up, on edge or in need of a challenge, stuck in an
unsuitable relationship or just determined to change your lifestyle.
You might be a yoga, tai chi or pilates enthusiast who wants to explore
your practice on a deeper level, or someone who wants to have a weekend
off.
A yoga weekend is a golden opportunity
to step out of your daily life and get back in touch with yourself.
Over the course of the trip you'll find yourself rested, replenished,
and renewed.
We offer a mix of
asanas, pranayama, relaxation, healthy food, fresh air, adventure, amazing
sights and inspiring teachers. Our trips are open to people of any faith
age, background or sexual orientation; be prepared to release mental
and emotional energy blocks. After a few days you'll feel your energy
start to rise. Going on a yoga weekend energizes the body, but it's
also a brilliant way to release pent up stress and anxiety and reconnect
with yourself.
